Ep 34: Upset Madness

March Madness upsets, Lebron Injury, Fight Night Recap, NHL North/Canadian coverage and more on the pod!

We talk some NBA as well with the LaMelo and LeBron injuries (20:13) likely to affect the standing and trophy races. As well as eyes on Blake Griffin's debut for the Nets (28:40)

Combat Corner (30:23) recaps UFC Vegas 22 drawing parallels between Tai Tuivasa and Montel Jackson's quick knockouts (30:54) which were juxtaposed to a very last second KO by Grant Dawson (33:19) as well eyes on the performance by Montserrat "Conejo" Ruiz head and shoulders above her opponent (36:57) Before getting to the main event where Derek Brunson beats Kevin Holland decisevly over 5 rounds (41:09)

Talkin' Hockey gets into the Leafs win over the Flames (51:26) discussing whether Campbell is the starter going forward and how Galchenyuk looks through 2. We also talk the rest of the Canadian division (01:00:36) with the Habs Jets and Oilers tussling in playoff contention, with the Oilers looking like number 1 for now (01:02:11)
